General Brief:
Created custom brand artwork and environmental graphics for Taco Bamba, a bold, chef-driven restaurant known for its eclectic personality and vibrant visual identity. As part of an ongoing creative partnership, I developed original logo elements, mural concepts, apparel graphics, and signage tailored to individual restaurant locations throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Role:
Served as Lead Designer and Illustrator, responsible for concept development, illustration, and execution across a variety of branded assets. This featured project, The Swami Rooster, reimagines Taco Bamba’s signature mascot as a meditating swami, using a simplified silhouette style to create a playful and memorable mural graphic.
Solution & Impact:
Designed a location-specific visual asset that captured Taco Bamba’s irreverent personality while complementing the brand’s existing identity system. The illustration was integrated into the restaurant environment as part of a larger experiential branding strategy, helping transform physical spaces into memorable destinations and reinforcing the chain’s distinct, community-driven character.
