General Brief:
A complete brand refresh for the newly-formed Ohio City SC, creating a modern identity system that honored the club’s local roots while establishing a stronger, more versatile visual presence. The project included a branding system, color and typography, merchandise, apparel, and supporting brand assets designed to unify the club across digital and physical touchpoints.
Role:
Served as Lead Designer, overseeing the rebrand from concept to execution. Designed the primary and secondary logos, established the visual identity, selected the color palette and typography, and applied the system across jerseys, merchandise, and marketing materials to create a cohesive and scalable brand.
Solution & Impact:
Developed a timeless identity inspired by Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, incorporating vintage athletic typography and references to the iconic Columbus Street Bridge to create a logo that feels both local and enduring. The expanded brand system provided flexibility across uniforms, merchandise, and promotional materials while strengthening recognition and giving the club a polished, professional identity that resonates with players, supporters, and the community.
